Day Events
These popular events get similar organisations together and give us opportunity to explore somewhere whilst making new friends.
We ask people to book on and sometimes to put down a deposit on these events (if something needs to be booked) so that we know numbers that are likely to attend and can reserve places. We use the deposit to offset each person's expenses minus £1 which is used towards the cost of organising the event and running costs of the group.
We normally try to meet around midday not too far from a railway station or a known landmark perhaps having two options but finishing the day with a meal together.

Weekend breaks and the New Year
On most weekends the booking fee covers accommodation, breakfasts and the Saturday evening meal. On some of the weekends we
will go out for Sunday lunch. To ease things on every first evening we have a 'Bring and Share' meal to add to what is provided.
We are self-catering so we all need to lend a helping hand. We also do this on the New Year break. Serving on a team is a great way to get to know new people.
For our New Year Getaways the booking fee covers
accommodation, breakfasts and the evening meals.
